Summary of Position
IREX seeks a Workforce Development/Higher Education Specialist for an anticipated five year USAID-funded workforce development project in Morocco. The project may focus on strengthening the workforce and improving the employability of youth, enhancing their career potential for entering the labor market through vocational training services, business-led workforce development partnerships, and job placement.
The position is contingent on funding.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders, including government counterparts, client representatives, private sectors firms, educational institutions, and implementing partners.
Develop and implement programs to strengthen workforce development and youth employment.
Develop and implement capacity building programs to build the capacity of workforce education and training institutions.
Develop linkages with the private sector and employers.
Develop successful partnerships with educational institutions and training providers.
