RESPONSIBILITIES
ACHIEVE SALES PLAN AND GROW MARKET SHARE
- Achieve the set sales plans for the Export division
- Ensure market share growths of the promoted products in key markets (Cameroon, Senegal and Ivory Coast)
- Seek new opportunities to increase Export contribution to The business
- Ensure Marketing strategy alignment to EURMEA guidelines and adapt promotional mix accordingly
- Assist in the annual sales budgeting process
- Set sales targets per country.
RESOURCE / EXPENSE MANAGEMENT
- Manage discretionary costs within the expenditure budget guidelines effectively using resources to maximize profits
- Ensure timely expenses reporting for the division
- Set the expenditure budget for Direct selling and Distribution costs annually
- Monitor the results vs. expenditure
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
- Effectively follow-up of the promotional third party implementation of The guidelines.
- Address performance issues constructively and timely, maintaining quality, accuracy, and up to date documentation
- Completes a bi-annual review for each direct report (if applies) and ensures that the job descriptions are kept up to date at all times
- Ensures that distributor contracts are updated annually.
- Establishes a positive environment of trust, respect, honesty, integrity, dedication, commitment, empathy and openness within the division.
- Takes initiative within the Division to accomplish projects and to achieve company objectives
- Thinks and acts strategically in the exercise of all management responsibilities
- Monitors the activities of the distributors and their teams.
- Visit the markets as is necessary.
DIVISION BUSINESS, PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT
- Routine analysis and knowledge of division’s business. Timely correspondence and accurate record keeping and monitoring and reporting.
- Ensures that division effectively implements the Marketing and Sales strategies
- Organising of Annually Export conferences
CUSTOMER SERVICE / RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
- Build and maintain relationships with Key customers by having regular contact. Distributors in key markets
- Manages internal communication and network to ensure a prompt response to customer needs and queries.
