Senior Estimator – Electrical and Mechanical (MEP) – Dubai

This is an opportunity with a global contractor that have delivered mega projects in Railway, Infrastructure and Commercial Property. They recently delivered a global Railway mega project and are looking to build on this success.

This is a newly created role within the Commercial Tendering Team to be based in Dubai, UAE. The role is to lead estimating activity in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines in upcoming Railway, Infrastructure and Commercial Property projects throughout the MENA region. This role will involve working with a pre-contract commercial team. 

You will lead and manage MEP estimating activity in the MENA region. You will develop Estimating processes in order to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.  You will set up and monitor KPI's. You will prepare estimates. You will perform critical path analysis and implement Risk Analysis.

You will be from an MEP Estimating background. You will have gained experience in large scale infrastructure and property mechanical and electrical projects. Previous MENA exposure would be preferred. You will have tertiary qualification in a related discipline and ideally have an industry qualification. You will have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written and ideally with previous leadership or management skills. You will have a sound understanding of Windows packages. You will have strong presentation skills.
