LFS works on behalf of national and international financial institutions and technical assistance agencies.
About the Job:
LFS is looking for Senior Agricultural Lending Experts in Kyrgyzstan. S/he will support LFS's team engaged in MSME and rural finance projects with participating financial institutions in Kyrgyzstan (rural areas and outside of Bishkek).
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of work experience in MSME and agricultural lending (of which at least 5 years in commercial MSME lending operations in management positions as an expatriate advisor);
- Proven track record of successful development / management of commercial MSME lending operations;
- Experience in designing products and implementing specific lending schemes to meet the demand of the rural and agricultural sector;
- Proven track record in training MSME and agricultural loan officers in lending operations in transition countries (preferably in former Soviet Union countries);
- Fluency in English and Russian language;
- Willingness to relocate to Kyrgyzstan and travel within Kyrgyzstan for a period of up to 5 years;
- Management experience in an MFI or bank with MSME and agricultural lending operations;
- Experience in relationship management with shareholders, creditors and authorities.
