Background:
As an important part of the strategic transformation program, FINCA implements the unified retail core banking application – Oracle FLEXCUBE Retail in all affiliates. A regional IT team is currently being formed to provide Oracle FLEXCUBE Retail implementation as well as further support for FINCA’s affiliates in Eurasia (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan). The Regional FLEXCUBE Administrator – Eurasia (RFA) is an integral part of the regional IT team.
About the Job:
FINCA International is seeking a Regional FLEXCUBE Administrator – Eurasia. The incumbent will participate in process of implementation and further support of FLEXCUBE core banking application within the Eurasia’s regional network of FINCA affiliates and report to the Senior Regional FLEXCUBE Administrator.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Installation and support of core banking software environment;
- Trouble shooting (migration and post implementation phases);
- Technical maintenance of FLEXCUBE core banking application;
- Implementation and control of FLEXCUBE backups;
- Securing FLEXCUBE operability within defined Service Level Agreements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in technical or economic sciences;
- Over 3 years of experience in financial services or banking area;
- Deep understanding of Oracle FLEXCUBE Retail (configuration, database tables, troubleshooting etc.);
- Over 2 years of experience as an Oracle FLEXCUBE administrator;
- Experience of interaction with I-Flex support team;
- Proven experience in business requirements collection and development of technical specifications;
- Advanced level in PL/SQL;
- Knowledge in Windows and Unix/Linux family operating systems;
- General understanding of change and release management processes;
- Knowledge in oracle databases administration desirable;
- Knowledge of programming languages desirable, especially Java.
- Readiness to follow social mission;
- Fluent in written and spoken English required;
- Readiness to travel up to 30% of time.
