About the Organization:
The Centre for microFinance (CmF) was established in 2005 to strengthen the microfinance sector in the Rajasthan, India. It aims to catalyze the sector through the infusion of innovative ideas, conducting quality research on microfinance issues, and providing technical and managerial services to agencies that are engaged in delivering microfinance services to the poor.

About the Job:
CmF is looking for a Programme Officer/Senior Programme Associate – Livelihood. S/he will lead the institution building theme of the project with focus on ensuring quality of SHGs, clusters, federations, and producer companies being formed by the facilitating non-government organizations (FNGOs).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Regular monitoring, identification of gap areas, formulating strategy, and designing programs for community based institutions to strengthen financial and overall management and governance;
  • Facilitate execution of these programs through FNGOs;
  • Other responsibilities include preparation of training modules, identifying and developing a panel of trainers and resource organizations, conducting/organizing training, exposure etc.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Post Graduate in Veterinary Science/Agriculture Science/ MSW/ Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management/MS Social Work/Rural Development/Science/Engineering;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience in development sector with a proven track record of achievements;
  • Direct experience in planning, implementation, and evaluation in a community mobilization and institution building project;
  • Proven ability to lead and manage project teams including coaching and mentoring team members;
  • Experience in negotiating with government and external agencies;
  • Strong understanding of skills required in project and change management;
  • Experience in collaborating and communicating effectively with diverse professionals and cultures.
