About the Job:
The GFA Consulting Group is looking for a MSME Lending Expert to support upcoming projects in the field of MSME finance at different financial institutions (MFI, banks). The work on offer is consultancies with Mozambican financial institutions focusing on MSE and SME lending.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- With a focus on capacity building and operational reform, the experts would be responsible for intermittent interventions over a 2 to 3 years period, during which they would work closely with the institutions and their management to improve the efficiency of credit processes and operations and improve the selection of products and their marketing.
Qualifications:
- Advanced university degree in economics or finance;
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience;
- Proven exerperience in MSME lending;
- Experience in international cooperation projects, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa;
- Excellent spoken and written Portuguese;
- Experience in capacity building and training;
- Good communication and report writing skills.
