About the Job:
RI is looking for a Microfinance Technical Consultant. S/he will help RI, Iraq in adding a functionality in Delta Microfinance Suite to enable the MFI to monitor trends and better analyze portfolio status at additional levels (loan officer, branch, region, gender, product, funding source) as well as integrate and streamline financial reporting.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- System audit with findings for the cause and source of discrepancies, errors, security, and access issues, etc.;
- Provide a report on the steps taken by consultant to correct all issues found;
- Train staff to maintain the system’s operational effectiveness and accuracy with materials and/or manual to ensure optimization on an on-going basis.
Qualifications:
- Experience with computer systems;
- Must have experience with Delta;
- Experience with financial reporting software and experience of conducting a system audit;
- Experience proposing changes in software and equipment for the inclusion in the strategic/operating plans of an organization;
- Experience reviewing information system strategy and advising of modifications according to the changes in operations and external environment;
- Experience gathering date and writing reports and staff training.
