Annapurna Microfinance Pvt. Ltd. (AMPL), a microfinance venture of People’s Forum is an NBFC regulated by Reserve Bank of India. It was created for the purpose of growth of the microfinance operation in the areas which are still away from the touch of the formal financial system of the economy. AMPL provides livelihood support to the poor households by providing financial and technical support to strengthen their entrepreneurial skill.
About the Job:
AMPL is looking for a Head – Risk and Audit. S/he will be responsible for the entire functioning of the risk and audit department.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an overall risk management process for the organization;
- Manage the process of identifying and assessing the risks affecting the business;
- Organize appropriate risk reporting, internally and externally;
- Review the effectiveness and efficiency of the risk management framework and processes;
- Ensure that internal controls are in place and operating effectively;
- Undertake specific independent audit assurance reviews;
- Risk reporting in an appropriate way.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Finance/Operation or M.Sc. in Statistics;
- FRM/CFA will be preferred;
- Previous experience in any NBFC/banks/MFIs/financial research firm;
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
