About the Job:
MIX is seeking a Director to lead the development of its Financial Inclusion program. The Director for Financial Inclusion will be responsible for shaping and delivering MIX’s financial inclusion program within MIX’s overall products and services.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Developing the strategy to promote MIX as an industry leader in providing data, tools and analysis on financial inclusion;
- Engaging clients on financial inclusion work;
- Leading MIX’s financial inclusion data collection, analysis and tools development;
- Building partnerships to support MIX’s financial inclusion offerings, particularly with regulators, policy makers and related data providers;
- Managing related data analysis staff;
- Support efforts to secure resources for further growth.
Qualifications:
- Solid track record in the sector, with five to ten years of work experience in microfinance or financial inclusion;
- Client oriented, with a track record of managing client engagements and relationships;
- Data savvy, able to work with data analysts to effectively translate data into insight and tools for target audiences;
- Coalition builder, with proven experience in mobilizing partners to support program goals;
- Strong manager, able to effectively mobilize talent across a range of teams and skills;
- Good communicator, both written and verbal;
- Excellent teamwork skills.
