One Acre Fund is a nonprofit organization started in January 2006 with the goal of completely rethinking how to solve the chronic hunger problem in Africa. It creates farmer-focused solutions. One Acre Fund's core service package for farmers include: group formation, education, seed and fertilizer delivery, flexible payments (credit or sales), and market access.
About the Job:
One Acre Fund is looking for a Finance and Operations Analyst. S/he will be doing financial reporting and analysis along with the management of local finance teams.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide reports on district, country, and organization wide budget performances. The reports will include line-item analysis, as well as a set of cost-cutting action items;
- Responsible for updating the input delivery process, creating training materials for staff, and ensuring that the delivery of seed and fertilizer is properly tracked;
- Lead the implementation of the new internal audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Top-performing undergraduate background;
- Strong work experiences, preferably in a finance or systems analyst role;
- At least 1 year demonstrated experience working in the developing world;
- Fluent French and English is required.
