About the Organization:
Saija Finance Private Limited (Saija) is a non-banking finance company (NBFC) formed in April 2008. It focuses on providing microfinance services for the urban and rural poor, as well as micro and small businessmen in the underserved geographies of northern India – Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
About the Job:
Saija is looking for a Deputy General Manager Finance & Accounts. S/he will be responsible for assisting top management in capital structure decisions and its effective implementation. S/he will report to the chairman and managing director.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with external agencies to ensure desired funds flow to the organization consistent with its business plans;
- Design and implement a book keeping and accounting system matching international standards;
- Support top management in audit procedure and reporting. Coordinate closely with both statutory and internal auditors;
- Put in place a robust cash and funds management system for optimal returns;
- Draft and ensure compliance of a comprehensive accounts manual and investment guidelines for the company;
- Coordinate closely with the heads of operations and systems department.
Qualifications:
- Must be a CA.
