About the Job:
Amret is looking for a Core Banking System (CBS) Project Director. S/he will work closely with the project manager and assist and empower the CBS team and to ensure a smooth roll out of the software across the institution.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Implement any necessary improvement to the plan or any related process to ensure the system is correctly utilized and owned by end-users;
- Work closely with operations, branch organization department, financial services department, credit department, and audit department to streamline all processes linked to the CBS at branch level;
- Work closely with IT department to implement the new organization of the department;
- Work closely with finance department to ensure that the CBS can produce the accurate financial reporting;
- Work with relevant teams to make sure new products or features are well documented, developed in a timely manner, properly tested and signed off by requesting department, and that users are properly trained;
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related disciplines;
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience;
- At least 10 years of work experience in financial/banking sector with a minimum of 5 years as a functional team leader in various capacities;
- Experience in complex project’s management – at least 5 years;
- Experience working with microfinance an asset;
- Work experience in Asia is a must, in Cambodia preferred;
- Fluency in English;
- Proven management and strong analytical skills;
- Strategic planning exposure is necessary;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Willingness to travel to any provinces.
