TITLE : E-Health Projects Management
The Republic of Kazakhstan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Kazakhstan Health Sector Technology Transfer and Institutional Reform Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services under Contract Ref: KHSTTIRP-D/IC–05 on E-health projects management.
An Individual Consultant with international experience is invited for technology transfer and technical assistance to Health Information Center (HIC) focused at e-health projects management pursuant to best world practice.
Expected duration of the assignment is seven (7) months, five (5) months of them, the Consultant should be present in Kazakhstan.
As a result of its activity the Consultant is expected submit recommendations, development methodology and drafts of regulatory and methodological documents and patterns of operating papers required for projects management. Besides, he/she shall be involved into common coordination of HIC projects implementation.
Qualification requirements for candidates:
• At least Master's degree in IT-area;
• The project management certificates issued by PMI or PRINCE2 will be an advantage;
• At least 15 years experience of work in IT projects management including at least 5 years experience in e-health area;
• At least 5 years practical experience of work in IT projects management at international level;
• Excellent analytic and communication skills;
• English proficiency;
• Russian is an advantage.
An individual consultant will be selected through Selection of Individual Consultants method in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004 edition). The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of these Guidelines setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
