About the Organization:


Pro Mujer is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) whose mission is to support Latin American women living in poverty to build better futures for themselves and their families through microfinance, business skills, and health care support. Pro Mujer leads the microfinance industry in addressing the poorest segment’s multiple needs and in pioneering creative solutions to build awareness and demand for health services. It also provides access to basic healthcare and health promotion and prevention education.

About the Job:


Pro Mujer is looking for a Chief Talent and Administration Officer (CTAO). S/he will report to the chief executive officer and serve as a member of the senior leadership team. As head of human resources (HR) and administration, the CTAO will lead a comprehensive HR and administrative strategy. S/he will also be responsible for all administrative work and processes within the organization, including the identification and resolution of any gaps in order to boost overall performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and team building: As a key leadership team member, model a collaborative management style and be a champion of cross-organization cooperation and collaboration;
  • Strategic planning: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to set the human resources and administration strategic direction, develop operational plans that support Pro Mujer’s core business, and create a performance based culture. Analyze, assist, and advise the staffing plans as well as drive a comprehensive people management agenda;
  • Administration: Responsible for assessing and implementing consistent human resource and other administrative policies across Pro Mujer countries to support achievement of organizational goals and increase organizational efficiencies;
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and retention: Develop and lead Pro Mujer’s organization-wide strategy for recruiting and onboarding a high quality and diverse workforce. Cultivate interdisciplinary relationships that build Pro Mujer’s reputation as an employer of choice across sectors and will implement effective processes for candidate screening and selection;
  • Training and development: Responsible for the planning, implementation, and resource development for all staff training.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, an advanced degree is preferred;
  • Minimum of 10 years related work experience in human resources and administration or relevant positions of increasing scope and responsibility;
  • Previous experience working in Latin America for an international organization or company in a similar capacity is highly desired;
  • Experience of working in a multinational retail service environment;
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
