About the Organization:
Pro Mujer is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) whose mission is to support Latin American women living in poverty to build better futures for themselves and their families through microfinance, business skills, and health care support. Pro Mujer leads the microfinance industry in addressing the poorest segment’s multiple needs and in pioneering creative solutions to build awareness and demand for health services. It also provides access to basic healthcare and health promotion and prevention education.

About the Job:
Pro Mujer is looking for a Chief Talent and Administration Officer (CTAO). S/he will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will serve as a member of the senior leadership team. S/he will lead a comprehensive HR and administrative strategy. S/he will directly manage an HR team of eight located across Pro Mujer countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru), as well as one team member in New York.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role with the Pro Mujer board of directors and support induction of new members, facilitation of board books, and preparation of HR/administrative updates for board meetings;
  • Lead Pro Mujer's global efforts to continue to attract, motivate, coach, develop, and retain the best talent as well as further the organization to deliver excellence in services for the women and families served by Pro Mujer;
  • Responsible for all administrative work and processes within the organization, including the identification and resolution of any gaps in order to boost overall performance;
  • Ensure all company-wide policies – regardless of department – are communicated and adhered to, such as the training of all newly recruited employees, and that all premises are safe for clients and employees;
  • Partner with the other senior leadership team members and country directors to ensure all policies are aligned throughout the organization and are both efficient and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred;
  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in HR and/or administration, or relevant positions of increasing scope and responsibility;
  • Proven experience working in Latin America for an international organization or company in a similar capacity is highly desired;
  • Candidates with experience working in a multinational retail service environment are encouraged to apply;
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required;
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
