About the Organization:
Community Economic Ventures, Inc. (CEVI) is an NGO in the Philippines. It a microfinance arm of World Vision Development Foundation and part of the global network of Vision Fund International. CEVI is organized to respond to the needs of microentrepreneurs engaged in trading, manufacturing, and service-type businesses through the provision of financial and technical assistance.
About the Job:
CEVI is looking for a Chief Operations Officer. S/he will be responsible for extension, monitoring, and documentation of branch operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for efficiency and effectiveness of branch operations;
- Ensure the quality of the loan portfolio of VF MFI;
- Monitor the deposit level of the branches;
- Oversee the overall quality control of the institution’s products, systems, and services.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration or any other Social Science field;
- Hands-on experience in credit and deposit operations;
- At least 5 years of experience at a senior managerial level;
- Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team;
- Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude;
- Good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach;
- Sound communication and marketing skills;
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
