About the Organization:
Incofin Investment Management (Incofin IM), an impact investor, develops and manages funds investing mainly in MFIs in developing countries. The investment funds make debt and equity investment in MFIs or other institutions that serve the poor. The investments of Incofin IM target both financial and social return. Incofin IM is one of the fastest growing fund managers in the area of microfinance and its adjacencies.
About the Job:
Incofin IM is looking for an Associate Business Development. S/he will work in close cooperation with the director business development. Together, they will support the managing director in developing investment funds and other functions.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Development of funds:
- Interact with (potential) investors to understand their interest, requirements, and risk appetite;
- Design financial models in Excel and design adapted investment products matching both supply side (investors) and demand side (e.g. MFIs);
- Assist legal advisors with conceiving term sheets, shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements.

Commercialize microfinance investment funds:
- Draft attractive investment memorandums and design adequate and to-the-point summaries and presentations, in order to convince investors to invest in Incofin IM funds;
- Network with the international investment community and identify potential investors.

Maintain investor relations:
- Regular interaction with existing investors – send them information about the products they invested in and keep them up to date about new products Incofin IM is developing.
Qualifications:
- Master university degree;
- At least 2 years of experience in a top strategy consulting firm or a reputable private equity company, or other relevant experience in asset management or investment management;
- Strong in Excel financial modeling;
- Ability to make compelling PowerPoint presentations;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Multilingual – English is a must, other languages are an asset (Dutch, French, Spanish, and German are particularly relevant).
