The role of Head a Laboratory Section comprising of various work groups responsible for delivering Analytical Services according to QAFCO's requirements. The key contribution of this role is to ensure that analytical, development and troubleshooting tasks are carried out as per standards and planned targets in the most cost effective and timeliness manner.
Role holder is responsible for ensuring that the laboratory staffs are trained, developed and motivated to realize potential and make significant contributions. A key function of this role is to co-ordinate with external laboratories and research institutions; also communicate with the customer's Heads of Section in order to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of analytical results. Promoting and ensuring fulfillment of the relevant requirements of Qafco's Occupational Health, Environment, Safety and Quality system standards.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree or Master Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University.
- 10 – 15 years direct and relevant experience in an Laboratory function within fertiliser or petrochemical industry.
