About the Organization:
Invest India Micro Pension Services Private Limited (IIMPS) was established in 2006. It is focused on encouraging and enabling low income informal sector workers and financially excluded individuals to save for their old age. IIMPS has developed a proprietary micro pension model and a scalable technology-led process that delivers a range of non-credit financial services to the poor.
About the Job:
IIMPS is looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP)- Outreach. S/he will be responsible for working with MFIs and community based organizations (CBOs) to help them deliver Micro Pension products to their clients and also forge new partnerships with credible microfinance and CBO partners.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work independently with selected existing microfinance and CBO partners in upscaling the delivery of an integrated Micro Pension product solution to their clients or members;
- Identify and collaborate with new, credible microfinance, and CBO partners;
- Provide outreach partners with a single window interface and ongoing support for implementation planning and management and related MIS on operations and micro-savings behavior;
- Provide technical assistance and operational support to outreach partners including training and certification of field staff, co-branded IEC tools, etc.;
- Coordinate with the relevant teams at the IIMPS HO related to micro-payments, training, client protection, IT, helpline, and operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience of at least 5 years in the microfinance sector, or the development sector or in an institutional marketing function at a bank or mutual fund or insurance or third-party distribution environment;
- Ability to effectively interface with senior executive of channel partner institutions;
- Prior experience with independently managing implementation of new financial products in a development or microfinance sector environment will be preferred;
- Good understanding of various payment solutions including mobile or card-based platforms and outreach through a BC model.
