About the Organization:
Apne Aap is an NGO and was registered in 2002 in Mumbai to create the legal structure and an inspiring and assuring self-help group for these women. It articulates the struggle of women who want the 'right not to be a prostitute.' Apne Aap helps trafficking affected women by encouraging them through self-empowerment groups to access three fundamental rights as per Apne Aap's 3L model:
- Education;
- Sustainable and dignified livelihood;
- Legal empowerment.
About the Job:
Apne Aap is looking for Head HR Admin and IT. S/he will be responsible for developing HR strategy in line with the organization'€™s strategy. S/he will take care of communication and implementation of effective HR, admin and IT policies and processes.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Creation and delivery of HR strategy to ensure high levels of employee engagement:
- Develop and implement the HR strategy in line with the organization's strategy for the short, medium, and long term;
- Finalize the HR strategy and plan for the financial year. Ensure that the human resource strategies support organization’s needs by means of effective communication and credible delivery of the programs.

Lead recruitment and onboarding:
- Ensure manpower availability in line with organization needs;
- Plan and manage manpower plans and finalize talent acquisition budgets;
- Monitor effectiveness of placement partners on quarterly basis;
- Ensure attraction and selection of high quality talent within specified turn around time (TAT);
- Design and execute the onboarding program across levels, provide close mentorship to new employees during first month, and work with supervisors, for assimilation into Apne Aap culture.

Design and implement enablers for creating a high performance workforce:
- Create a culture of high performance through a robust performance management system (PACES) which drives ownership at all levels and ensure rollout through support from the various stakeholders;
- Along with respective supervisors facilitate goal setting, mid-year reviews, and end year performance evaluation process. Provide feedback on an ongoing basis, identify development needs and coach them to ensure ongoing capability development.

Learning and development:
- Identify training and development needs of the organization and employees and prepare the training calendar for the year;
- Implement training programs for technical/programmatic as well as behavioral aspects.

Develop talent management practices:
- Create job descriptions for new roles and update existing job descriptions, when required;
- Upgrade the capability of the workforce on a continuous basis using tools such as special projects, programs, training etc.;
- Create a career management system that is linked to employee aspirations, performance and capability.

Support in framing the compensation philosophy:
- Design a compensation structure in line with the industry practices and organization requirements;
- Ensure efficient delivery of pay through robust, transparent, legally compliant processes;
- Design appropriate recognition and incentive programs to drive employee and organizational performance.

Other tasks:
- Ensure efficient design and delivery of all HR policies and ensure they are in line with industry and best practices;
- Conduct exit interviews and generate exit reports on a quarterly basis;
- Responsible for exit management formalities such as documentation, settlements, certificates etc.;
- Ensure minimal attrition through effective HR programs/initiatives.

Volunteer and intern management:
- Develop and guide the implementation of the volunteering and internship program within the organization;
- Work closely with the functional heads/state coordinators for planning of intern/volunteer numbers, projects and to ensure ongoing engagement of this group.

Information technology:
- Be responsible for all computer systems to operate effectively and provide regular advice on updating computer systems;
- Liaises with computer supplies companies;
- Ensures regular back up for all organization’s data which is kept offsite and oversee website/IT contract.

Admin:
- Oversee Apne Aap’s institutional arrangements in Delhi;
- Oversight of all service contracts;
- Manage office maintenance and repairs, including procurement of equipment and supplies, office space planning, classification of files and archives, and effective use of space;
- Development and monitoring of specific staff policies and office procedures.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Human Resources or MBA or Post Graduation;
- Knowledge of industry and best practices within domain;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in human resources with at least 2 years of experience in a senior leadership position within an organization or function;
- Technologically sound in order to ensure that organization’s information technology service are technically up to date, efficient, and effective;
- Strategic thinking with execution excellence;
- Planning and organizing skills;
- Excellence in stakeholder management;
- Excellence in oral and written communication.
