About the Job:
FINCA International is looking for a professional to lead efforts to analyze and improve operational and administrative processes within FINCA subsidiary.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work with local staff to identify, develop, and implement process improvements that will ultimately drive efficiencies and improve FINCA Malawi’s overall operations and delivery of products and services to its customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 to 5 years work experience in commercial, retail banking or other finance field. MA or MBA desired but not required;
- Experience in the application of Six Sigma methodology, preferably in a commercial, retail banking or other finance field. Greenbelt training and certification highly preferred;
- Extensive experience with process mapping and process re-engineering required;
- Knowledge of Visio and other relevant software applications required;
- Previous field experience in developing countries required, preferably in the region of assignment;
- Study/initial work experience in the microfinance, finance and/or development fields highly desirable;
- Fluency in English required.
