About the Job:
FINCA is currently looking for an Information Services (IS) Manager, to be based in Kinshasa. S/he will report to the country chief executive officer with a functional report line to the regional IS director. S/he will oversee the FINCA IS department, and will provide technical and administrative support for IS applications and IS infrastructure across head office and branches of FINCA DRC.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop a portfolio of IT services that support the goals of the organization, deliver value, and achieve a positive ROI;
- Develop strategies and action plans to align technology to business processes of the company;
- Analyze business requirements and translate into technology solutions;
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to information technology based on FINCA’s global IS policies;
- Measure, monitor, and optimize IT Services and good performance of the area as a service provider;
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security plan and business continuity plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related fields;
- Over 3 years of experience at management positions in IT;
- Over 4 years of experience in implementation and support of IT systems;
- Experience in management of IT projects;
- Basic knowledge in finance and accounting;
- Experience with Windows family operating systems;
- Experience with enterprise databases (at least one of Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Sybase);
- Fluent English and French: written and spoken.
