About the Organization:
The Centre for microFinance (CmF) was established in 2005 to strengthen the microfinance sector in the Rajasthan, India. It aims to catalyze the sector through the infusion of innovative ideas, conducting quality research on microfinance issues, and providing technical and managerial services to agencies that are engaged in delivering microfinance services to the poor.

About the Job:
CmF is looking for Programme Officer – Livelihoods. S/he will lead the agriculture projects under the Sakh-Se-Vikas initiative.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed action plans according to project requirements;
  • Liaison with government departments;
  • Develop linkages with external agencies;
  • Assess the capacity building needs of the field partners;
  • Develop a pool of resource persons to provide technical support and regular hand holding in field;
  • Develop training modules, organize exposure visits and workshops for field partners under the SSV initiative;
  • Undertake need based studies to enhance productivity in agriculture and livestock related interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Post Graduate in Veterinary Science/Agriculture Science/MSW/Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management/MS Social Work/Rural Development/Science/Engineering;
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years relevant experience in development sector with a proven track record of achievements;
  • Direct experience with in planning, implementation, and evaluation in a livelihood project;
  • Experience in preparing detailed project reports (DPRs) for selected viable projects with financial modelling;
  • Proven ability to lead and manage project teams including coaching and mentoring team members;
  • Experience in negotiating with governments;
  • Strong understanding of and skills required in project and change management;
  • Experience in collaborating and communicating effectively with diverse professionals and cultures.
